Hi, I am Manyi Mangwin.

The Vision

I am an internationally published photographer and a soon-to-be graduate of the University of Florida. My journey with the lens actually began long before I picked up a camera; it started with watching my mother. As a photographer herself, she showed me how to navigate the world through a lens, and seeing the joy her work brought to others inspired me to find my own eye for detail.

From Seoul to Florida

My professional path took a definitive turn during my sophomore year of college while living abroad in Seoul, South Korea. At twenty-one years old, I had the incredible opportunity to shoot for the Korean activewear brand, Positive Me. That work was eventually featured on a billboard in one of South Korea’s premier locations: The Hyundai Trade Center.

Since returning to the States, I have served as the Asst. Visual Coordinator for the University of Florida College of Journalism, where I honed my technical skills and professional workflow.
